We love objects that can stay with children for years.

This is a part that's especially close to our hearts.

The name isn't simply added to the chest. Each letter is first crocheted, then sewn and attached by hand directly onto the chest by the artisans in our workshop in Morocco.

This way of working gives the personalization its texture and its handmade character: every name is made entirely by hand, especially for the chest.

The wool, the colors and the small details give each piece its own character. Even when two chests share the same size and shape, they're never quite identical.

That's also the charm of a handmade object: the small variations in the weaving and the embroidery are part of its story.

Giving a personalized chest for a birth

If you already know the name, you can have it made directly on the chest.

For a baby shower, when the name isn't known yet, you can also order the chest now and choose the personalization later.

You can then pick colors that match the nursery, add pompoms, or slip a small gift inside: a soft toy, a blanket, a book or a few of the baby's first things.

The chest then becomes part of the gift itself.

An object you keep

What we especially love about these chests is that they aren't designed only for the first years.

They can stay in a child's room for a long time, change purpose over the years and eventually find a place elsewhere in the home.
